Principal Designer & Owner

With roots embedded in the Midwest, Kate Marker has been honing her signature fresh and timeless look for over two decades, developing a portfolio that now spans the country. With a design philosophy in creating spaces that are inviting, comfortable, and deeply connected to the natural world, Kate's work showcases the belief that a well-designed interior should be a sanctuary, a place where people feel instantly at ease and welcomed. She seeks to create spaces that people can envision themselves lingering in, and her commitment to design has grown beyond residential interiors to include an e-commerce site, a showroom, and collaborations with home brands reflecting her curated aesthetic.

Keeping comfort as paramount in all of her designs, Kate believes that every piece of furniture and every design element should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also practical and inviting. Plush textiles, cozy seating, and thoughtful layouts are key components of her design style. Natural elements, too, play a central role in her approach. Kate lives in the Chicago area with her husband and two daughters. When stepping out of her role as Owner & Principal Designer, Kate enjoys weekend getaways with her crew to the family lake cottage in Michigan and tapping into a sense of peace and perspective through yoga classes with friends.
